My name is frédéric, almost 50, i’m currently pivoting my career from system engineering (25 years+) to software engineer (part time dev for at least the same duration, software development is in fact my primary education).
last assignment was as a devops engineer (docker/ansible) and in a few days, i’ll follow a code bootcamp to be (i hope) fully assessed as a “Modern Software Engineer”. I’m currently at a stay in tokyo for this (if anyone is around here).
I bet hacking with fellows on Meshery can be a good way to raise my competencies, as well as help the community (i’m also an open source fanboy).
Looking forward to fix my first bug. asap.
My interest is first on ui parts (javascript/react/…), but docker is following and all required glue in bash/… is certainly where i can help
Is there anyone willing to help me having a quick and productive startup on my journey here ?
