Looking for a MeshMate for guidance

Hi, I’m Mahadevan, a 2nd-year student CSE student. I’ve recently gained an interest in Meshery and the Cloud Native Ecosystem and I’d like to explore more and hopefully contribute to some of them.

I’m familiar with full-stack development in MERN. I’m also proficient in Django and Python-based frameworks and ML.

I’m learning Rust and Go on the side.

I’d appreciate it if a Meshmate could guide me on technologies I could learn and get familiar with to better understand the Layer5 and Cloud Native ecosystem.

I have gone through Contributing | Meshery, but if anything else is required, then knowing that would be highly beneficial.

Welcome to the Layer :layer5: community and thank you for reaching out for a :meshmate: MeshMate. Apologies for the delay by us in responding.

You are already learning one of the important languages we use, Go. The code also uses Javascript and Jekyll. I would recommend joining the websites and the developers meeting to better understand the entire ecosystem.

You can fill out the newcomers’ form to gain access to resources in the form of a shared community drive and subscribe to the community calendar for meeting updates.
