I’m a 2nd-year B.Tech student and I’m excited to start contributing to open source. I’ve set up Meshery locally and gone through the contributing guide.
I’m comfortable with the MERN stack, TypeScript,Nextjs and React, and I’d love to start by working on a good first issue—maybe something related to UI, CLI, or backend, whichever needs help.
Could someone guide me to a suitable issue or suggest where I can best start contributing?
Hey there! Since you’re comfortable with the MERN stack, TypeScript, Next.js, and React, you’ll feel right at home working on Meshery’s UI and frontend-related tasks. You can also explore CLI or backend contributions — there’s something for everyone here. 
As a MeshMate, I’d recommend starting with the good first issue label in the Meshery repo:

If you’re interested in the CLI or backend side, then the Meshery CLI and adapters are good places to dive in:
